Brucci Kathy's Baby Blues (Challenge Day 21: A Polish that is Pastel)

Another fabulous Brucci.  They just do polish well, I think.  The brushes are a breeze to work with, the colors keep branching out and are really great, the price is always between $2 and $4, and while the formula is a tad on the thick side, is pretty smooth once you get the hang of it.

For today's challenge, I realized that I don't have that many pastels besides various shades of pinks and lavenders.  This blue baby was a springtime buy of mine when I was taken with Essie's Bridal Collection 2011 that featured a similar shade.  It's really delicate and sweet, although can sometimes lean a bit green with the wrong lighting (or maybe it's my skin tone?).  I wouldn't recommend this as a pedicure though.  When I tried that, my friends said my feet looked as if they were suffering from hypothermia.  I'm pretty fair so this may look better on people with more color or blood in their system.

While the flash pictures on the bottom make it look a bit chalky, let me assure you, it's not.  It's really a classic pastel blue that is easily a dupe for Essie Borrowed and Blue.

What do you ladies think: hypothermic or on trend?

  1. awww Im quite pale as well, and I understand what you mean about the hypothermia lol, but I think it looks very pretty on you and it does look very similar to Essie's Borrowed and Blue. I am loving this!

  2. btw I am glad you got DANNII you will love it! :)
